Acer palmatum Beni-maiko, also known as Red Hired Dancing Girl, represents a distinctive Japanese maple cultivar. This plant presents itself as a diminutive, densely branched shrub or small tree, adorned with remarkable foliage. Its leaves, divided into five lobes, emerge in a vivid red hue during spring, transitioning to a blend of pinkish-red and green throughout summer, and ultimately transforming into a fiery palette of orange and red tones come autumn.
