Acer palmatum 'Sango Kaku', or Coral Bark Maple or Senkaki, is a highly prized, vivacious small tree boasting vibrant winter appeal. In spring, small, pale-green, palmate leaves arrive with an eye-catching crimson hue which gradually mellows as the tree grows. As summer approaches, the foliage lightens to a light green, later transitioning to a glorious yellow-golden hue in the autumn. In winter, the vivid coral-red stems are especially striking in the snow, consequently earning its name 'Coral Tower'.

The plant's growth rate and size will vary depending on planting position & conditions. Bloom, foliage and interest may vary from photo upon delivery, dependant on season.
