A fabulous Antique Suffragette lavaliere necklace featuring a beautiful floral pendant fashioned in 18ct Yellow Gold with five long droppers each dotted with white Pearls, violet Amethysts, and green Peridots set upon a golden flower.
Together the colours of each stone pay tribute to the women’s Suffragette movement which took place in the early 20th century and popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White stones which symbolised: Violet for Loyalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope, or Give Women Votes!
The pendant has been beautifully preserved from the early 20th Century and fitted with a newer 18ct chain. It’s very pretty and a wonderful piece of history.
