Tif designed the Perennial Garden Shawl for our Pro-Verbial Club in July 2021. It is now available for everyone to knit, so we have created a bundle of brand new colors to go along with its release! Originally made from three colors of our cashmere-merino yarn, Annapurna, we are making this wonderful shawl even more luxurious and have added a skein of Frond to the bundle. Hold with the main color for a bouquet of plant-inspired colors. Tif's original palette, as seen in the finished shawl, is named Reflection.
Perennial Garden Shawl features a variety of slip-stitch designs and a modified two-color garter stitch. Three complementary colorways highlight the subtle textures.
Tif says:
"Perennial Garden Shawl was inspired by the natural beauty found in the layering and variety of shapes, textures and colors found in my own perennial gardens. I love the way a garden can shift and grow from one year to the next, as the wind, birds and animals assist in the natural spreading of seeds, providing a garden with a balanced yet layered blending of colors. The Perennial Garden shawl was particularly inspired by my garden in late Spring / early Summer, when the garden is lush and adorned with many different shapes and colors."
