Bremont have unveiled a truly unique limited edition set of Bremont watches to tribute the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain. The remarkable duo of timepieces consists of a Bremont Spitfire and a Bremont Hurricane watch displayed in a stunning wooden and leather presentation box. The set also comes with the incredible opportunity to fly in a Spitfire plane, an aircraft which fought in the air in 1940. The Bremont Spitfire Chronograph pays homage to an aircraft considered the most widely produced and strategically important British single-seat fighter of World War II while the Bremont Hurricane watch takes design cues from the clocks seen in the iconic Hurricane plane.
The Bremont Battle of Britain Spitfire watch is a stunning chronograph with a stealthy all-black DLC coated stainless steel case, a matching black metal dial and a unique closed case back stamped with the profile of a Spitfire aircraft. Housed within the 43mm case is the BE-54AE autoamtic winding movement, chronometer certified and with a power reserve of 42 hours. The Swiss made calibre provides central hands for hours, minutes, chronograph seconds and 24 hour GMT, a date window at 4 o’clock and three subsidiary counters for continuous seconds, 30 minutes and 12 hours. The Bremont Battle of Britain Hurricane watch is a classic three-hand date timepiece with the iconic Hurricane aircraft decorating its closed case back. The sophisticated black metal dial with coated nickel hands decorated in Superluminova brings to life hour, minute, seconds and date function powered by the chronometer certified BE-92AE automatic winding movement which boasts a power reserve of 38 hours. It’s 40mm case is crafted from classic stainless steel engineered using Bremont’s legendary Trip-Tick construction with a scratch resistant DLC treated case barrel. The piece is also fitted with sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective treatment and a vintage brown leather bund strap and stainless steel pin buckle.
