On the fast side is a polyester weave very commonly found on cornhole bags that are a medium speed (6-7 on a speed scale) the slow side is very similiar in feel, but is just a little bit stickier (5-6 on the speed scale).
This bag has been designed to be loose and forgiving but also controllable in the hand. Give this bag about 10-20 games to break in.
