Each pen is crafted from 18-karat gold and .925 Sterling Silver, showcasing the intricate Guilloché engraving technique—a process that brings the precious metals to life through detailed, light-reflecting patterns.

The Celestial Collection features multiple levels of engraving, especially on the cap, where the sun and sunburst designs are carefully crafted to reflect solar flares and heat. The three-dimensional face of the sun, engraved on the rounded surface of the cap, is a striking highlight. The creation of the Hard Enamel that adorns these pens is an art in itself. Each coat of enamel, made from a hand-ground mixture of glass, water, and metal oxides, is meticulously applied to the engraved metal. After being fired at over 1,000°F, the enamel is fused to the metal, forming a resilient layer of glass. This process is repeated until the enamel perfectly covers the intricate Guilloché patterns, resulting in a rich, velvety finish.
