This listing is for a vintage kimono made for a young girl. While it may seem long enough for an adult, note that the width and his/waist are more narrow than an adult's kimono of similar length would be.
A traditional vintage beauty - this orange color with green and yellow is more common than expected, but seen often in formal kimono for young girls. This kimono features a swath of white flowers curving like wings behind the central design of an imperial cart festoon with more flowers. Large folding fans in green or yellow also float along. A touch of turquoise here and there is a nice pastel surprise.
Most of the elements are outlined in silver leaf, and some are embellished with accent embroidery. The fabric is acetate - very commonly used in yougn girls' kimono - which is silky and has a sheen but is more easily cleaned than silk.
