Born in Richland in 1867, American architect and urban planner, FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT is one of the most influential artists of the period. One of the works definitely to highlight is The House on the waterfall (Fallingwater) or Kaufmann House. A villa built on a creek in Pennsylvania, is from consider one of the masterpieces of architecture. The goal is to recreate a balance" between the natural environment and the human environment by integrating the various elements. All become part of a single interconnected organism architectural. Wright strives to achieve its architecture organic not only the materials of the place, such as stone, but also and especially a modern expressive technology, which despite its apparent disruption integrates wonderfully with its volumes in the space of the place.
