In one of the most dramatic days of sport in recent memory, Chris Froome staged a spectacular 80km solo break on stage 19 of the Giro d'Italia up the Colle delle Finestre to overturn a three-minute deficit and become only the third man to hold all 3 grand tours titles at the same time to put hime up there with the greats of the sport alongside Eddy Merckx and Bernard Hinault. It is also his 6th Grand Tour Win of his career for Team Sky and who would bet against him to make it 7 at this years Tour de France.
