Linkwood 10yo Fable Chapter Two: Folk is a single cask release from the Linkwood distillery in Speyside, bottled by independent bottler Fable Whisky. Distilled on 16 July 2010, matured for 11 years in a refill hogshead and bottled on 10 December 2021. Only 231 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 56.4%.
Nose: Green apple, bold, buttered burnt toast. Grassy and nutty with soft some spicy notes.
Palate: Sweet and soft initially, with green fruits and acidity, lemon, crisp green apple, fresh mint, and green tea. With water, a soft white chocolate and honey are released.
Finish: White chocolate, lavender and fresh green apple skin deliver a clean and refined finish.
