We love the antique feel of hand burnished leather and we also love the rich texture of suede. Combining the two gives us the best of both worlds and in our recently introduced 'McLaren' design we feel we have come up with a belt design that is sleek, stylish and versatile. To make such a belt is not easy, with great precision required to perforate the edge detail before layering it on top of the suede base and then slowly hand stitching the inner and outer edges, avoiding the perforations along the way! Once all this is done the belt is hand polished with wax to bring forth rich tonality in the leather edging. The rich tonal combination of conker toned suede and deep chocolate leather makes this belt eminently versatile, one that can be used for any occasion when you need a brown toned belt. We have finished this belt off with a slim, elegant, subtly detailed satin gold finish buckle that seems harmonious with the warm earthy tones of the leather whilst keeping a firm focus on the belt design. We end up with a belt that cannot hide its handcrafted origins and will be the ideal companion to all sorts of outfits, used from dressier occasions to denim.
