The dial contained within a 42 mm diameter, stainless steel case has a strictly centred design and dispenses with all totalizers. This gives the wristwatch an attractive generosity. The dial carries easily readable Arabic figures to mark the hours. Other features include three hands and an orange, red or yellow minute track on an inner circle. The hour and minute hands are partially skeletonized in opposing ways to differentiate them more fully. The minute hand possesses a colour coordinated frame, so minutes can be read from the inner circle without an additional hand. A fluted crown that is characteristic of DAVOSA is screwed together with the case and remains eminently operable even when wearing pilot’s gloves. A vintage-look, leather strap harks back to the tradition of pilot’s watches. Here too, however, subtly colourful seams testify to a reinterpretation of the pilot’s watch.
