Original Item: Only One Available. An attractive example of a WWII GI ammunition crate which originally contained 350 Rounds of Incendiary, Caliber .50 M1 Cartridges. Originally packed at the Twin Cities Ordnance Plant.
The crate is very well marked on all sides. It is truly an eye-catching piece with the coded yellow/red/yellow diagonal lines on all four corners (intended for instant visual identification). The crate is complete with its original lid and all six of the original securing wingnuts are intact. It measures approximately 18 1/2" x 14 1/2" x 9 1/2" and weighs about 13lbs.
An excellent display piece for the weapons collector, vehicle collector, AAF enthusiast, and so on!
