Typical homefront wartime construction, in an effort to save precious resources for the war industry, the plate was made by simply stenciling the design with paint on a die-cut piece of thin plywood. Many of these did not survive over the last eighty years! Shows an attractive patina and honest wear from use. Measures 12 1/4" x 6".
