A gorgeous diamond engagement ring from the Retro (ca1940) era! This platinum ring adorns a stunning 0.52ct Transitional Brilliant Cut diamond at the center. The sparkling prong-set stone exhibits H color and VS clarity, catching the light beautifully with every turn. A baguette diamond in an east-west setting adorns each shoulder of the mounting, adding further elegance to the design. Slim cutouts grace both sides of the mounting, and a subtle knife edge style band wraps around the side, graduating slightly towards the back. When worn, the piece delivers a spectacular sparkle and classic appearance, which would make a stunning vintage engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 5.5 scant, but could easily be resized. The centerpiece rests approximately 1/4" above the finger when worn. The tapered band measures 1mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. The diamonds are all intact and securely set.
