This necklace is inspired by famous outlaw Rose Dunn, known as “The Rose of Cimarron”. She was a famous outlaw who learned to rope, ride, and shoot thanks to her two older brothers. The 3 shapes utilize metal stamping to create patterns on metal that reference flowers, landscapes and our relationship with nature, a nod to traditional Western dress. For these new designs I leaned into the floral patterns often seen in the Southwest to give these pieces a feminine edge.
