This faux sapphire necklace has faceted, square-cut, blue-glass chicklets alternating with glass stones molded in a step pattern. The result is an Art Deco classic. The two blue-enamel links on each end make me think this piece is European in origin. This necklace closes with a spring-ring clasp. The original silver-tone finish is worn in places on the piece, so much of the brass is showing. Because the focus is the gorgeous blue stones, this slight blemish doesn’t detract in any way from the beauty of this jewel. This elegant necklace is versatile and timeless, and from my personal collection.
