"This piece actually features 2 creatures for an upcoming WWII commission that will release in late 2018.  The Higgins Landing craft shown here as a whale was the common craft used to land troops on the beach in Normandy.  Flying around for protection is the .30 Cal Mosquito; the counterpart to the MG42 Mosquito!"
