The metallic burgundy to purple leaves have dark purple veins. This striking foliage is lush and forms a natural mound. Creamy white flowers emerge from pink buds on burgundy stems high above the unique foliage in spring. This low maintenance plant offers year-round interest and profound beauty.

Silver Scrolls Coral Bells are easy to grow. Experienced gardeners love this perennial, but it is perfect for our customers just getting started too!

Heuchera Silver Scrolls grow in full shade to part sun and prefer fertile, well-drained soil. Heuchera often go dormant in cooler climates, but are evergreen in warmer climates. In cooler zones they act just like other perennials and come back in spring. Once established Coral Bells are drought tolerant however they will perform best with a moist soil. This plant is extremely low maintenance and deer resistant. Fertilize with our balanced, slow release fertilizer when planting and in spring for best results.

Landscape Ideas

Heuchera Silver Scrolls grow well in just about any shady spot. Fill in areas where other plants won't grow like around the base of a shade tree. At a mature size of 8 inches tall (the flowers can grow to up to 2 feet) and 12 inches wide the Silver Scrolls Coral Bells makes a great border or groundcover.

With its unique silver and purple color this heuchera looks striking in mass plantings and offers bold contrast to other plants in mixed beds. Plant heucheras in containers to enjoy them on your porch, covered patio, or deck. Silver Scrolls even attract hummingbirds to your cottage garden!
