This vibrant green tourmaline was sourced and cut especially for Plante Jewelers by local gem artist and lapidary Chris Wolfsberg.  Chris sorted through hundreds of parcels of Nigerian tourmaline to find the perfect specimen for us.  He then faceted the tourmaline crystal by hand, giving the gemstone his signature "star bright" cut.  The finished tourmaline weighs 4.30ct.  It has a long rectangular shape, and has excellent clarity.  The gemstone was mined in Nigeria, and has had no treatment.
